Stephanie Lock Interiors is a Chicago-based interior design studio with residential projects throughout the Midwest. The studio approaches each project with a less-is-more sensibility for comfortable, sophisticated and well-appointed interiors. Stephanie’s minimal and timeless approach to design translates into a thoughtful assortment of furnishings and accessories tailored to the client’s needs and aesthetic. Collaborating with artisans, architects, interior architects and crafts-people, Stephanie curates unique interiors that will stand the test of time.

Stephanie’s unconventional entry into interior design has been guided over a lifelong curiosity and appetite for design—starting at a very young age with the desire to be invited for “playdates” not to play with friends but to explore the architecture and interior design of the home. Graduating with a BFA in the performing arts, Stephanie pursued a career in the performing arts followed by the culinary arts, founding a pie dough company. However, the desire to design never waned. Through continuing education courses, collaborations with architects and designers and encouragement from colleagues, Stephanie Lock Interiors was founded in 2008.
